Overview
Full-frame detail. Controlled noise.
The MegaVision Q6 combines a 60 MP Sony IMX455 back-illuminated monochrome CMOS sensor with native 16-bit output, active cooling and a configuration adapted for selected MegaVision imaging systems.
Its 36 × 24 mm imaging area supports detailed capture across a broad field of view. Low read noise, multiple readout modes and buffered image transfer make the Q6 suitable for scientific imaging, multispectral documentation, forensics and fine-art reproduction.

Native 16-bit conversion
The sensor provides native 16-bit analog-to-digital conversion with up to 65,536 digital levels. This supports precise tonal sampling and flexible scientific or specialist image processing.
Back-illuminated sensor
The back-illuminated design allows incoming light to reach the photosensitive region with reduced obstruction from front-side wiring, supporting efficient photon collection and strong sensitivity.
True RAW data
The Q6 provides minimally processed image data to preserve the original captured signal and maintain flexibility for calibrated scientific, multispectral and specialist post-acquisition workflows.
Anti-dew protection and cooling
A heated optical window and sealed sensor chamber help control condensation. Two-stage thermoelectric cooling reduces sensor temperature to help minimize dark current during extended exposures.
