Thinner than conventional film backs to allow the attachment of an OQO computer, MegaVision's backs connect with a Firewire cable.The OQO computer allows the next, logical step in high end professional digital capture; the ability to have studio capture application control of the image making process without the cables. Mere shoot- to-Compact Flash equipped cameras can't do what these babies can. Studio capture apps are typically tethered via a cable to a wall (mains) powered desktop computer, but this changes with the OQO, a battery powered computer capable of running a multi-tasking, multi-threaded operating system, on batteries. Approximately 3.5 by 5 inches, by a half inch thick, this computer running Windows XP (Home and Professional) allows allows MegaVision's forward thinking development team the opportunity to show you now, the future of professional photography.

The E3 captures images at a rate of one per half-second, the E427 at one per second the E4 at one per 1.2 seconds and the E5 at one per two and a half-seconds. With the exception of the E5, all the E Series backs are available with monochrome sensors.
